Robert,
with odd numbers, the space might be distributed unevenly (by a pixel), this is due \
to snapToPixel property of the GridPane. Setting it to false might lead to even \
distribution, but the border might be blurred.  Anyway, if you are not sure if it is \
a bug, I would suggest you file a JIRA issue with some sample to reproduce the issue: \
