Yes. You can copy any single part individually to a project if you like. 
Very useful for moving incoming faxes to the project associated with a 
customer.

Yes, not very easy, but you can switch to "mail source" and use the 
"project copy" button (book icon) there. The filename should end in 
".mail", so that the correct inline viewer is activated if you open the 
document in the project application.
