Summary: Enh: Grouping of project/contact/enterp. records to
                    virtual directories
           Product: OpenGroupware.org
           Version: TRUNK
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: normal
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: helge.hess@opengroupware.org
        ReportedBy: Daniel.Bar@seznam.cz

Description of problem:

At this moment user has a limited set of tools to group projects (for better
overview). They may be on common/private/archived tab. Also a custom search tabs
may be created.

It might be usefull to be able to define virtual (for contacts, enterprises,
projects etc.) drectories and be able to view/work only with such separated
subset of records. Such grouping may be defined globaly (for whole database) and
possibly personaly by each user.

Why?: In company where I offered OGo they make a lot of offers/project cost
calculations to different subjects/companies (say few hundreds per year). But
only a relatively small subset of them really happen to realize. Though it might
be usefull to have such nil projects stored, it would be nice to be able to
group them to separate subgroups like "year 2003, Prague offers, nil results"
etc. so they do not mix with other more "important" profitable projects.

Currently available tools for such sorting are IMHO usefull in cases where only
a relatively small number of such groups (<20?) is needed.
