Also I can confirm this issues.

I get error while build image with this configuration:
TARGET_ARCH       = "arm"
TARGET_OS         = "linux-uclibc"
MACHINE           = "at91-l9260"
DISTRO            = "minimal-uclibc"
DISTRO_VERSION    = ".dev-snapshot-20090125"
TARGET_FPU        = "soft"

Please consider the proposed patch
