To my knowledge there is no way to enter non-english characters in GPE because
neither the virtual keyboard (xkbd) nor the physical keyboard support them. If
this could be fixed, e.g. by an extended or customizable or 'locale'-aware on
screen keyboard, the value of OZ/GPE would be improved a lot for European
users.
