Not sure why, this patch causes a problem with the hicolor-icon-theme.

The problem I see is:
TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'NoneType' and 'str'

In this case the rdepends is a NoneType.

I have a patch on the queue that solves the problem. I changed the lines 
above to use d.appendVar().
