On Fedora 23 firewall-cmd is used.  Once I executed the following two
commands the site is now working.

# firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-service=http
# firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-service=https

Thanks for the help.  Hope to return the favor some day.
