For the good it does, icheck was capable of doing just this; taking a
list of block numbers and reporting when any were used in a file.
Icheck doesn't seem to be part of openbsd today, but the 4.3bsd version
understood ffs and should be close enough for this - and there's no
technical (or licensing issue) why it couldn't be made part of openbsd
if people think that's a good idea.
