the mplayer guys remove old versions in order to encourage people to use
the newest versions.  obviously in this case the distfile wasn't
mirrored before the file was removed. anyway, you can find the file
here:

speaking of mplayer, has anyone noticed any weirdness with the -ss
option of mencoder?  it tends to not skip the correct amount of time or
dies on sigfpe.
