If the port happens to use any libtool 1.4 specific features then you
cannot use USE_LIBTOOL since it is a port using libtool 1.3.5 at the
moment. Im playing around with a libtool 1.4.2 snapshot based port but so
far I've just been pulling out my hair trying to figure out this buggy
piece of crap.
