My apologies for not having responded sooner, but I've been desperately trying to \
remount this server. It seems that simply by copying the entire contents of \
/usr/local/bin from the backup drive to the main drive, I rendered my box \
unconnectable. It would boot, and I could see that it was up, but I couldn't even \
ping it.
Now everything is back to normal, and the netstat reading above is from the properly \
running machine. I also now know better than to indiscriminately copy files from the \
backup drive to the main drive. But I am really curious to know what it was I did to \
incapicitate my network card.
The folks where I rent my dedicated server were kind and helpful, but unfortunately \
unfamiliar with OpenBSD.
Thanks again.
Lou
