my "Xircom, CreditCard Ethernet+Modem 33.6, CEM33" has always given me
"xe0: device timeout", and this patch didn't change that  ;)  It continues
to NOT work.

Thanks for working on the Xircom driver though.. I bet it'll help others
out.
