You will get the HEAD revision in cvs which is also called "current".

cvs get -r <VERSION_TAG>
OpenBSD versions are tagged with OPENBSD_X_Y, where X.Y is the version number
(eg. OpenBSD 2.6 would become OPENBSD_2_6).
