Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE
network.

Just for the records:
As of -current #65 (Sept., 23rd, 2013) claws-mail has been
upgraded to version 3.9.2.

I no longer witness the described behaviour. Or with plain word:
claws-mail is functioning again as a 'dumb user' would expect.

To all those who made this possible: THANK YOU!

Regards,
STEFAN
