I have multiple CARP interfaces attached to VLANs on a TRUNK interface. These CARP \
interfaces provide internet access to the LAN.

vlan16 : carp3 (173.x.x.x)
When looking at the packets going in/out of vlan8/16 and carp2/3 shows the lladdr of \
the vlan8/16 (00:14:xx...) devices instead of the lladdr of the CARP interface \
(00:00:5e...). This causes major confusion of upstream equipment when it has the mac \
address of MASTER server and it suddenly changes.

Create trunk interface, add vlan, add carp to vlan, observe network traffic
> Fix:
I manually set the lladdr of the vlan devices to the lladdr of the carp devices. All \
traffic now has the lladdr of the CARP interface.
