On the same note:

I generally do not try to put other operating systems down, however it
can be useful to do some comparisons between different OSes. Of course
Windows will come up. Nothing is better than knowing the _facts_ and
explaining the differences without bias. Once you give some examples of
security (or whatever comes up as important in the discussion), you will
clarify, and usually this will end up advocating OpenBSD over the other
choices. Just remember that OpenBSD is not for everyone, and that cou
will not always be able to get someone to give OpenBSD a shot. Don't
take things personally, and be nice. Don't be a zealot. If nothing else,
tell them to give it a shot on a rainy day. And be nice. :)
