Hi Alan,
    I'm replying cc: advocacy@openbsd.org, which is perhaps a better place
to pose your observation.  That, or misc@openbsd.org is a better list to
send in discussion that is not directly related to web page errors, rather
than www@openbsd.org.


    There is a step by step guide through FDISC in the official release CD
set.  I believe that same step by step is someplace within the web pages,
but I haven't looked for it, in the last while.  Were you installing from
the net or via CD?
