Hi,
I am starting firefox with (via menu.xml) with
firefox -P Newstart -new-instance
which displayes the dialog to choose a profile.
This is needed, since there a few [CENSORED] sites,
which get totally confused, by this or that plugin
I am runnig -- for that I have an "empty" profile.
The according part of the menu.xml is:
<item label="Firefox Normal">
<action name="Execute">
<command>firefox -P Newstart -new-instance</command>
<startupnotify>
<enabled>yes</enabled>
<name>Firefox</name>
</startupnotify>
</action>
</item>
This (should) enusre, that firefox occupies the desk/desktop
from which I have started it...
But it works only half the way: The dialog for choosing the
profile is fired up on the correct desk/desktop...firefox
is displayed on the current desk/desktop, which is not neccessarily
that one, from which I started it.
Is there any way to include firefox itsself in the mechanism, which
put the dialog on the correct desk/desktop?
Thank you very much in advance for any help!
Best regards,
Meino
