Yes so do I, as mentionned in my original mail I only encounter problems 
when running on amd64, though my first debug outputs seem to show that 
the problem is a memory problem, probably triggered by 64bit issues, I'm 
  reading through the source and will let you know.

Btw I have an amd64 workstation at home now and was able to reproduce 
the problem on different versions of OpenBSD (3.8 and 3.9-snap).
