i've experienced this same exact behavior, and yes it is frustrating.
i try not to resize the playlist very often, as it becomes very broken
in shape and size, and is quite hopeless.
i'm not using xinerama.
i've tried not to complain [until now apparently], because i'm sure it
has something to do with __NET_WM_FOOBARBAZZ and is the fault of xmms
developers ;-)
