MS Vista and Win7 are unsupported but i have run tests to post a bug report.
Xsupplicant v2.1.9.709 2010-01-06
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit up-to-date 2010-01-20
While installing on OS (Installer responds that this OS version has not been tested) \
installer freezes while searching for other supplicants (checksuppsapp.exe runs in \
32-bit mode). After killing process in task manager the installer responds that there \
were other supplicants discovered but not disabled or removed (no other supplicants \
were installed on OS). Installer then finishes its process and after reboot \
Xsupplicant starts but the icon in tray is grey and after doubleclick it shows the \
About window. The service Xsupplicant is stopped. If manually started, error 1075 \
occurs: The dependeny service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit up-to-date 2010-01-20

Windows Zero Configuration Supplicant" but cannot disable it. It opens window with \
message to manually disable the supplicant. After reboot Xsupplicant starts but the \
icon in tray is grey and after doubleclick it shows the About window. The service \
Xsupplicant is stopped. If manually started, error 1075 occurs: The dependeny service \
does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

Message:
The current nightly builds have support for Vista and Win 7 now.  The first
release supporting them will be in the next week.
