Hi folks

I have enabled 802.1x (On it's own with NO static wep key) on a test SSID =
on our Cisco WISM.

A windows XP laptop using the built in M$ 802.1x supplicant copes famously =
with the 'WEP key is provided'.

When I come to configure XSupplicant to connect to the same SSID it keeps a=
sking me
for the WEP key which of course I do not know since it is being generated b=
y our Cisco WISM.

I have no idea what the WEP key is so the XSupplicant is not allowing a con=
nection.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Andrew Torry
