Also check out http://villagetelco.org/ -- their hardware has been 
tested and implemented in Cape Town before (see 'Deployments' on the 
site), so there may be people with experience with it in town.

The founder/CEO Steve Song (stephen.song@gmail.com) is living in Canada 
at the moment, but is super responsive and helpful even from there. Let 
me know if you need an intro.
