Dear ODTUG list subscriber --

ODTUG has launched a new Web site!  In conjunction with this effort, we
are combining and eliminating some of our current mailing lists. Per the
administrative email sent out last week, this is the first probe of email
addresses. This is a VERIFICATION EMAIL ONLY. You do not need to respond
to it (in fact, responding to this email will likely get you removed from
the list, so just don't do it), and you can safely delete this message.

This is step 1 of the discussion from last week:

1) We will be sending out a verification email to ALL mailing list
subscribers in the next few days. Regardless of how many lists you are
currently subscribed to, you will only receive one message per email
address that you have subscribed. The intent of this message is to verify
that your email address is reachable and valid. If you receive the
message, you can safely ignore it, and you should NOT respond to the
email. If the message bounces back to us as undeliverable, that email
address will be removed from all lists. To ensure uninterrupted operation
of your mailing list subscriptions, please make sure that any email
originating from “fatcity.com” and “odtug.com” is whitelisted on your
systems.

for help. That's about it. The transition efforts to the new lists will
begin this week, and everything should be complete and active on Monday,
March 16, 2009.
