Hi,

I was wondered whether anybody out there had any experience of HyperRoll
aggregate solution. My understanding is it produces a set of aggregates that
sit in front of the Data Warehouse, accelerating queries and reducing the
need to use custom built RDBMS structures such as Oracle's materialized
views. As with most sales literature there are a number of claims made about
performance improvements, space savings and build times. I was curious as to
whether anybody knew of any downsides, like there are with many OLAP engines
(e.g. handling updates, changes to structure, etc.)

Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Jonathan
