In XML vocabulary PI names means Processing instruction names. They as any
XML tags should not have any whitespace character or start with reserved
words (XML,xml,..).

Java programmers:
I don't know alot about Java, mostly doing DBA work. My application is
generating some trace files with the following error -
XML-0109 (Fatal Error_ PI names starting with 'xm" are reserved.
Line 209 Column 1 XML-0100 Error Expected EOF.
oracel.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: PI names starting with 'xml' are
resevered. at oracle.xml.sql.dml.OracleXMLSaveXML (OracleXMLSave.java :2204
at oracle.xml.sql.dml.OracleXMLSave.insertXML(OracleXMLSave.java:1288
at oracle.xml.sql.dml.OracleXMLStaticSave.insertXML(OracleXMLStaticSave.
java 412.
I looked at Metalink, but can't find an exact match for my errors. I don't
get any ORA, only the XML errors. I want to be able to tell the
developer what's wrong and get him to fix the code. How do I start ?
Thanks.
