Hi,

yesterday i tried the same thing with all the same failures
on same platform ...

In /etc/ocfs.conf i replaced "ip_port" with "ip_port_v2 = 7000",
after this it worked fine.

I read the manual from ocfs version 1 and was missing "ocfstool"
the gui to generate /etc/ocfs.conf. So i took the one from
user manual example and changed the "ip_port" with "ip_port_v2".

For load_ocfs2 as module i had to reboot my machines, otherwise
i got a failure about not finding the module.

The kernel mismatch version i ignored, and for my first
tests it worked fine. I created files and dirs on
the ocfs shared storage and both nodes see them and i also
can delete them.

Want today make any further tests, but i have not a database
working until now. I will test the oracle supplied binary
tools.

Regards Helmar
