Hi guys,

Here is my latest try at getting ntpdc IPv6 capable and still being
backward compatable. It is still using mode 7 packets. :-) I used Bill
Cote's work as a starting point. The patch is against ntp-dev-ipv6.
With a ntpd and ntpdc build with these patches you should have great
cross compatability. This ntpdc should be able to talk to just about
any (x)ntpd and just about any (x)ntpdc should be able to talk to this
ntpd.

The patch is a little big, 120k, you can get it from:

http://ipv6-gw.icomtek.csir.co.za/ntp/ntpdc.diff.8

I haven't committed it to the bitkeeper repo yet, because I would like
to get some feedback first and do some more testing. Most of the normal
(for me) commands do work, but there might be some that doesn't.

John
