Johannes,
it's very strange, it seems that ntop has been compiled with local
dependencies.

Have you tried the demo
version<http://www.ntop.org/demo/ntop/win32/ntop-3.3-demo.exe>of ntop
?

Hi Yuri,

yes I did start ntop from the commandline and I didn't got any warnings, except \
the
complain about missing files, the ones I mentioned. To get the problem fixed \
with
packet.dll I executed : copy %windir%\system32\packet.dll packet from \
c:\ntop

The funny thing is that I did the exceact same routine on both NT4 with the same
self compiled package. And I had the same complaines about the missing files.
This is really wired.
> Johannes
> afaik everything should be "self contained" in the package. You
> shouldn't need anything else.
> Maybe you have already answered to this question but, did you start ntop
> from the command line instead from the service panel?
>> 2. installed Openxtra package (already 2 days ago), to my surprise all pngs \
