IIRC some installs of rrdtool put the .h in a funny place or don't install it at \
all...

Read the output from ./configure and the stuff in config.log WRT rrd.  The answer as \
to why it can't be found is in there.  If you look at configure.in (it's easier to \
read vs. configure), you will see how it uses the --with-rrd-root option (look for \
RRD_ROOT).
