Luca already answered such a question about one week ago in exactly this
mailinglist:
it's a failure of the newest automake.
You can handle it the following way: edit the Makefile of ntop, add
"0:0:0" behind any occurence of "version-info" and "2.0" behind
"-release", as far as I can remember.
You need to do this 2 times in this Makefile, then it compiles without
any error.
