Greetings. We have a serious problem with some new W2K servers. Two were
set up by Dell, one I had to break down and re-build. All have the same
problem.

We access the internet through a proxy server. The settings for these 3
servers are, as far as I can tell, consistent with our W2K Pro workstations
and our NT4 servers and workstations. The proxy server is set to allow any
machine from our network access.

With our W2K servers, however, when we try to use IE 5.5 (or 5.x) to browse
outside our own network, we get an immediate "Permission denied"
message. Has anyone out there come across this? TIA!
