Hi,

i have now tried a lot of thinks and found maybe the origin of all my
problems.
I have installed openldap-2.2.0.a_2, pam_ldap-1.6.4 and nss_ldap-1.204_1
under FreeBSD 5.1, but if i try to login, it will fail.

Now if have tried a lot of different configs, but now success. Than i
have created a local-user with an other password.

Now login is successfully(with the password from ldap-server).

What can be the problem?

in nsswitch.conf are the following lines:
passwd: files ldap
group:  files ldap
hosts: files dns

And in pam all is also configured fine.

I think, there is a problem with the nss_ldap.
