Summary: 2.46-built installers for TuxMath fail to install

Initial Comment:
Hi,

I am the maintainer for tuxmath and tuxtype (http://tux4kids.alioth.debian.org). I \
cross-build the win32 builds under Linux, and use NSIS to package the programs into \
win32 installer files. I have three machines set up to do the builds - a Debian Sid \
AMD64 box with NSIS 2.46, a Dell i386 Ubuntu Lucid notebook, also with NSIS 2.46, and \
a Dell Mini netbook with Ubuntu Jaunty and NSIS 2.43.

When I make crossbuilds of either tuxmath or tuxtype on the netbook with NSIS 2.43, \
the resulting installer files work fine.

If I package the identical programs on the machines with NSIS 2.46, the installers \
don't work - they exit with a "corrupted installer file" error. The tuxtype \
installer generates the error when trying to unpack "kcas10.jpg", whereas tuxmath \
throws the error on "0.jpg", both of which are unremarkable image files. Does NSIS \
now have problems with filenames containing '0'? I'll try renaming the files to \
something else and see if the error persists.

The installer files themselves are quite large (15-20MB) , so I don't think they are \
suitable as attachments to this report, but I can send them if anyone is interested.

Hi, I encountered the same issue on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04) with nsis
2.46-1. I can confirm that the 2.46-2 package fixes the problem. I hope
they will update this in Lucid distro...

Thank you very much for your detailed bug report.

Your described symptoms match with the one described in the
Debian bug report #579407.
http://bugs.debian.org/579407

nsis 2.46-2 should fix this bug and was released just a couple of hours
ago.

Furthermore I plan to apply a patch to the subversion trunk if there are
no objections against it:
