Doug,
Given the requirements of the data collection we do, the AlphaSmart Dana is the only \
Palm device with the right combination of features/form factor and price that will \
suit our needs. Our intent is to move towards a Windows-based UMPC or MID as soon as \
they reach the right price point. At that point, this issue will be moot.
The Dana does have built-in Wifi, but not Bluetooth. I believe that there are SDIO \
Bluetooth antennas available, but I'm not positive if they will work with Palm. The \
other problem is that I can't find many sound meters with wireless communications. I \
have found one Bluetooth meter, but it doesn't appear to be offered in the US right \
now.
If anyone on this forum knows of a dB meter w/ ad hoc WiFi or Bluetooth, please let \
me know!
Thanks,
Wesley
