The maximum number of rows that can be displayed in a grid is 8192.  
When you try to load 8193, POSE crashes with the message:
"NSBasic just wrote to memory location xxxxxxx causing a bus error"

I just did some testing using a program that writes a specified 
number of records to a database.  The record format is an integer and 
a 90 character string.
