<BODY>
The Palm OS (PalmSource) has already been purchased by a Japanese company (Access) \
that develops software for cell phones. They claim they will continue to develop and \
support the OS but nobody seems to know in what manner they are going to do it since \
their largest customers are Chinese cell phone manufacturers. The failure of \
PalmSource to release a multi-threaded OS (OS 6) and the purchase of PalmSource by \
Access may be the reason that Palm decided to get in bed with \
Microsoft. I guess they figured that "if you can't beat them, join them".<BR><BR>John \

<P></P>> This is the second time this has been mentioned in this forum this \
