Dustin, If you create a database with a Creator ID, that database is included in the information for the app with the same Creator ID. For instance, if you have an 10k app with Creator ID of "Dust" and a database that's 100k with the same Creator ID, the application will appear to be 110k in size. Also, the database won't be listed separately. If you delete the app, the database gets deleted along with it. To "hide" a database, and prevent it from being deleted, give it a Creator ID that matches one of the standard Palm apps (like "memo"). The database won't be listed separately, and it's unlikely that the user is going to delete the MemoPad app. However, this won't defeat users who have more powerful applications like ZarfCatalog. Also, now with the NSBSystem shared library, NSBasic users can easily build their own cataloging apps, and can discover your database. not to mention the fact that these "hidden" databases can be difficult to remove legitimately, and may in some instances be illegal to create.
