Hi,
I am trying to reorder the nodes priority of slurm. I was unsuccessful
until now.
Here what I did.
rocks report slurmnodes
#### Auto Created ########
NodeName=compute-0-0 NodeAddr=10.1.1.253 CPUs=8 Weight=20487900
Feature=rack-0,8CPUs
NodeName=compute-0-1 NodeAddr=10.1.1.252 CPUs=8 Weight=20487899
Feature=rack-0,8CPUs
NodeName=compute-0-2 NodeAddr=10.1.1.254 CPUs=8 Weight=20487898
Feature=rack-0,8CPUs
NodeName=compute-0-3 NodeAddr=10.1.1.251 CPUs=24 Weight=20503897
Feature=rack-0,24CPUs
NodeName=compute-0-4 NodeAddr=10.1.1.250 CPUs=8 Weight=20487896
Feature=rack-0,8CPUs
I tried to change the weight so the fastest nodes start first by doing
the following:
rocks add appliance attr compute-0-2 slurm_weight value='20487896'
rocks add appliance attr compute-0-4 slurm_weight value='20503897'
rocks add appliance attr compute-0-1 slurm_weight value='20487898'
rocks add appliance attr compute-0-0 slurm_weight value='20487899'
rocks add appliance attr compute-0-3 slurm_weight value='20487900'
After "rocks sync slurm"
I still have the same Weight !!!

Any idea how to do it.
Thanks a lot.
