Question: when I add packages to extend-compute.xml

...
<package> foo </package>
...

and foo has package dependencies and needs package "stuff_A" and "stuff_B", do I have \
to specify these dependencies manually thus making the entry in extend-compute.xml \
look more like this?

...
<package> foo </package>
<package> stuff_A </package>
<package> stuff_B </package>
...

So far I always did in advance a manual dependency analysis on a compute-node with \
"yum install foo" and added all those packages that yum suggested in addtition to the \
package of interest. Is this really necessary or is the command "rocks create distro" \
smart enough to add missing dependencies by itself?

I came ove this question while preparing my GPU-enabled compute-nodes for automatic \
NVIDIA driver installation: \

Thanks,
Michael
