We run a Rocks 6.2 cluster, that we've upgraded to CentOS 6.9:

# rocks list roll
> NAME VERSION ARCH ENABLED
> ganglia: 6.2 x86_64 yes

When trying to add a Dell R640 w/ two SSD, at boot time (BIOS set to AHCI),
we get

Initializing Serial ATA device
>
> PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controler BIOS
> AH -0 (Bus 24 Dev 0) PERC H740P Mini
> FW package: 50.3.0-1512
>
> 1 Virtual Drive(s) found on the host adapter.
>
> 0 Non-RAID disk(s) handled by BIOS
> 1 Virtual drive(s) handled by BIOS

The machine boots up, starts anaconda but then croaks on "No usable disks
have been found."

Dell is telling us to add the driver in
UnifiedDriver_7.703.06.00_RHEL6.tar.gz, namely
kmod-megaraid_sas-07.703.06.00_el6.9-1.x86_64.rpm
I can "rpm -ivh" that module on the frontend (so no compatibility issue),
but it is unclear to me how to add to the distro to activate it when
booting via PXE a new node.

Any hints? Thanks.

[Yes, we need to migrate to Rocks 7, but we're not yet ready]

  Cheers,
    Sylvain
