When rocks list host pxeboot says "os" it passes back a "standard" pxe
stanza that says "localboot" which should fall through to the next device in
the boot order, usually the local disk.

It's possible (probable) that LinuxBIOS does support this standard stanza. I
can see two choices for you

1) change the boot order to Hardisk first. When you want to install a node
you can
do #rocks set host pxeboot action=install <nodename>
and then force a netboot next time around.

2) You can figure out what the right LinuxBIOS stanza for a pxe response to
tell it to fall through to the next device in the boot order. If you figure
this out, then you can redefine the "os" action for your nodes with "rocks
set host pxeaction"
