What I use. Added to the SAN controllers which (in our case) send SMTP  
messages. The rest is done with Solar Winds. I'm not a huge fan of the  
product, it's a bit windows centric, but does have some deeper  
capabilities than open source equivalents. Costs more and less robust,  
but you get what you get....
