try DL from a different cluster and ideally from a different PC on a different carrier.
Pretty sure my SLED10 installed w/o errors. Weird that happened to you on the beta and on the release..
hmm. Do you get the same error on other hardware?

In-place upgrade from beta to production was also perfect.
Running on HP hardware (xw4000)

btw -
- iPrint works great
- Have installed NW Client 1.2 for sled and have it mapping some drives via NCP.

Anyone here installed SLED 10?

I'm trying for the second time. The first time was beta
(something or other) and now, using the released cd's downloaded this week.

Each time, I get the error:

"libtiff-3.8.2-5.6 fails integrity check"

Do I care? The first time I shrugged it off to a bad cd, or a symptom of the
beta. But, now a diff cd and the final release, so ...

Is there anything to do about this?

It seems that gimp, and part of cups, and evince and emacs and ....
several other programs, several of which I don't know what they are or
whether I want them, are dependant upon it. Is there anyway to get the
package, and then point the install to the "non-corrupt" version on a
usb stick, or something?
