Be aware that "one-button" recovery only works with certain
models of workstations and servers. I paid extra to get an HP drive
with "one-button" and *then* found out it only worked with HP
Kayak workstations (or some such).

Looks like they support models from Dell, Compaq, IBM as well as
HP now.

Externals cost $100 more, but can be power-cycled without
downing the server. Doing the same on an internal drive is, umm,
trickier :-). Next best thing to having a dedicated backup server,
IMO.
