Although I didn't test it or use it, NNTP service comes with netware 5.1.
You may want to look into that if you are considering 5.1

Is anyone using a news server on their NW boxes?  I've got 2 NW
4.11 boxes and I want to run a private news server on one of them.
I downloaded DNEWS, but it's clunky at best and doesn't integrate
with the NDS anyway, so the user database is totally separate.  Is
there another NLM based news server anywhere?

If there isn't a server for NW, what do you all run as a news server?
