This is my understanding as well, and my
curiosity is what about the "chaotic" open source
model? Release early release often as Linus has
said works great for Linux but where would that
put the Linux Kernel? Does that mean the the
Linux Kernel is SEI CMM level 1? Would this (SEI
CMM) only apply to vendors of Linux (Red Hat,
Progeny, Yellow Dog, VA)?
