   I've a gateway doing IP Masq and it's connected to a few clients using =
   hub. I need a program to constantly check the clients. If they try to =
   access other clients on the internal network, I need to run a script to =
   make a beep sound. If they try to access external world (internet), I =
   need to run another script to make another type of sound. Anyone can =
   help by telling me where to get this program? or how to write this =
   program? (I'm new to linux, so please help)

Depends on your setup; if you have a twisted pair switch that connects
computers on the inside of the proxy, the proxy won't see that traffic.

Even if you have a hub and the internal traffic reaches the proxy,
normally the ethernet card ignores the traffic not sent to it.
You can run a sniffer program (tcpdump, or similar) which put the card in 
so-called promiscuous mode, and trigger on data seen by the sniffer.
