I have just retested this against 7.0 agents on OES and as long as the service is \
enabled on any trusted app and as long as it has been enabled in client options on \
any level it will prevent the trash from being emptied.

If you don't have any trusted apps running than I am out of ideas...

Would that be also when there are no retention software running at all??
(we don't run that or any other product at PO level)

Did you get to read this message I sent???
- when I went back to have a look at it, the message itself is a blank box!!!

If I go on Message Source tab, I see everything fine. Also when I do this reply to \
the message ~|

Btw: no response yet to the original problems below. Anyone have an idea on how to \
empty the trash?

Thanks,
Patrick

Since new years (seems to be), users are unable to empty their Trash. They were using \
GWv6.5.4 and have now upgraded to v7 (latest beta patches all over), but that did not \
help.

Investigating a bit showed us that not all users have this problem as we proxyied \
another user and removed from their trash without problems. All users on same \
postoffice, using the same GW client. Have also tried with WebAccess..

In the client it seems that Trash gets empty, but going back they are still there. We \
also checked to see what the POA is reporting. That was nothing!!! Does not seem \
there is any communication between client and POA when we empty the trash. When \
emptying in the proxy users mailbox POA reports "Purge record".

Anyone have any ideas?
