4gb of RAM. The POA is not running in protected mem and has been
stable
for 2 weeks.

just a quick question - how much Ram has the nw65sp2 box got?

We had problems with protected memory space and nss clashing in
extended memory(over 4gb) - rolled the box back to just 4gb and
everything is fine, (at present)

Got a big problem here folks!

NW6.5sp2 and GW6.5sp1.

One of my post offices, on a cluster, keeps crashing every 20 minutes
because of address space errors. Sometimes the cluster volume fails
over to another server, but most often it just hangs and does not
restart. In the cluster view in ConsoleOne, the post office volume
shows as running. However, when I rconsole to the server, the post
office is not loaded. Manually moving the volume to another server
does
not help, it just crashes again in about 20 minutes. Ditto loading
the
post office from the server prompt.

The address space errors are: 'Removed address space because of
memory
protection violation' and 'Page fault, Insufficient rights to write to
page'.

The address space then attempts to restart but fails. GWTCP is the
NLM
that has the thread.

We are in the middle of registration for the Spring semester, and
management is not happy.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Betty Watson
